SunCap Property Group Begins Work on Gilbert Spectrum Building 7 August 2016
Graycor Construction Company Selected as General Contractor and Design-Build Partner

PHOENIX, AZ SunCap Property Group  has begun construction of a 60,000-square-foot office building in the Gilbert Spectrum Business Park in Gilbert, Arizona. This is the first of several planned buildings that SunCap is offering in the 63-acre park, located at the southwest corner of Elliot and McQueen roads. A total of 800,000 square feet of state-of-the-art office, flex-industrial and technology-related space is planned in eight to 10 buildings. Buildings range in size from 60,000 square feet to 200,000 square feet.

SunCap's design-build team on this project includes Graycor Construction Company as the general contractor and Balmer Architectural Group as the architect of record. Site work is currently underway with vertical development scheduled to begin in mid-September. The building will be delivered in early 2017.

North Pointe Business Campus Building I Hosts Open House July 2016
The Charleston business community turned out on June 29 to celebrate the completion of the 350,000-square-foot building in North Pointe Industrial Park, Hanahan, SC. Guests enjoyed a lowcountry barbecue lunch, games and giveaways as developers SunCap and WestRock and listing brokers Colliers gave tours of the facility, which is designed to support distribution or light manufacturing. Berkeley County Supervisor Bill Peagler spoke on the growth of the county and the increased need for a facility of this caliber to accommodate new tenants attracted to the market.

Six on Six Volleyball Tournament benefits Charlotte Family Housing May 2016
SunCap Charlotte sponsored its first team in the Six on Six Volleyball Classic hosted by Childress Klein and Beacon Partners. 2016 was the 9th year the event has been held, pitting teams from the Charlotte commercial real estate industry in a head-to-head competition that promotes camaraderie and networking while raising awareness and support for local charities. Thirty-six teams duked it out in the sand at the SportsLink sand volleyball courts of VBGB Beer Hall & Garden/Restaurant. JLL emerged victorious at the end of the day, $135,000 was raised for Charlotte Family Housing and a good time was had by all.
