Phase two of SunPort Ninety-Five in Savannah, GA breaks ground November 2021
SunCap Property Group has broken ground on Phase Two of SunPort 95. This 548,000-square-foot build-to-suit development will be leased to a national Fortune 50 transportation company and will deliver in August 2022. Phase One of the 123-acres development includes a 944,645-square-foot speculative building, delivering in September 2022. The site is located adjacent to Interstate 95, approximately 7 miles from the Savannah Garden City Port terminal.

Charlotte speculative industrial facility fully leased November 2021
SunCap Property Group is pleased to announce that safety helmet manufacturer Kask will occupy 60,000 square feet in Distribution Point. Thank you to Parker Melvin with Eagle Commercial Realty who represented Kask on the transaction. Distribution Point is a 98,000-square-foot industrial facility developed by SunCap, just north of uptown Charlotte. This transaction brings the project to full occupancy.

SunCap announces another Pittsburgh project completion November 2021
SunCap Property Group is pleased to announce the completion of a 278,000-square-foot build-to-suit distribution project situated on 67 acres in Findlay Township, PA. The project delivered in eight months - on budget and on time. This is the third project SunCap has developed in Findlay Township, which includes a 115,000-square-foot distribution facility completed last year.

Asheville-area industrial build-to-suit breaks ground October 2021
SunCap Property Group is pleased to announce it has broken ground on 40 acres in Henderson County, NC for the development of a 251,000-square-foot industrial facility. The build-to-suit development will be leased by a national Fortune 50 transportation company.

The facility is within Ferncliff Park, home to automotive-parts manufacturer GF Linamar and Sierra Nevada Brewing, and will be developed to meet LEED Silver environmental criteria. SunCap worked closely with Henderson County and the Mills River Township to develop the plan, which represents a $36 million investment in the community.

SunCap completes Pittsburgh-area distribution build-to-suit September 2021

Savannah speculative project is poised to break ground June 2021
SunCap Property Group has purchased 123 acres for the development of SunPort 95, a two-phase speculative industrial project totaling 1.8 million square feet in Savannah, Georgia. Strategically located adjacent to I-95 and 7.3 miles from the Savannah Garden City Port terminal, SunPort 95 is positioned to become the premier industrial site in the Savannah market. Phase I will consist of a 944,645-square-foot speculative building, breaking ground in July 2021.

SunCap completes Phoenix-area office build-to-suit for Northrop Grumman June 2021
SunCap Property Group has completed a 120,000-square-foot, build-to-suit office facility for Northrop Grumman. The property is in Gilbert Spectrum, SunCap's 63-acre office and industrial park located at the southwest corner of Elliot and McQueen Roads in Gilbert, Arizona. This is the second project SunCap has developed for Northrop Grumman within the park, both delivered on time and on budget.



 

SunCap announces another Pittsburgh project April 2021
SunCap Property Group is developing a 220,000-square-foot build-to-suit industrial project in the Pittsburgh area for a fulfillment and logistics provider. The property is located in Victory Road Business Park near Saxonburg, PA, and will support warehousing and distribution for a global provider of medical device products. This is the fourth project SunCap has begun in the Pittsburgh MSA since the beginning of 2020, totaling over 1 million square feet of class A industrial development. SunCap is proud to continue its investment in the region.

SunCap announces Spartanburg SC manufacturing build-to-suit groundbreaking April 2021
SunCap Property Group and its joint venture partner, ElmTree Funds, are pleased to announce that they have acquired 35 acres in Duncan, SC to develop a 170,000-square-foot facility for Magna International Inc. to house their Magna Mirrors manufacturing group. Edifice Construction has begun construction with an anticipated November 2021 delivery date. Michael McLernon, Brockton Hall, Garrett Scott and John Montgomery with Colliers represented Magna Mirrors on the lease.


This is the third build-to-suit project SunCap has developed for Magna. A 230,000-square-foot facility was completed in Moore, South Carolina for Magna Seating and a 200,000-square-foot facility in Columbus, Ohio was completed in March of last year.

SunCap announces Colorado Springs project groundbreaking March 2021
SunCap Property Group is pleased to announce that, in spite of challenging weather conditions, construction is underway on a 279,000-square-foot industrial project in Colorado Springs, CO. The facility is a build-to-suit distribution center for a Fortune 50 client.

Las Vegas speculative project is poised to break ground February 2021
SunCap Property Group is pleased to announce it has purchased 39 acres for development of SunPoint West, a six-building speculative industrial project totaling 730,000 square feet in North Las Vegas. The site was purchased jointly with Diamond Realty Investments. Positioned at the intersection of West Cheyenne Avenue and Coleman Street, the complex is strategically located in one of the Valley's most in-demand submarkets. SunPoint West will target distribution and warehouse users with buildings ranging from 55,000 to 238,00 square feet. Sitework is scheduled to begin in April with the first building shell delivering by the end of 2021.

Palmetto Trade Center in Charleston, SC 100% leased January 2021
SunCap is pleased to announce that Freedom Forever has leased 18,686 square feet in Palmetto Trade Center Building I. With this lease, the building is now 100% occupied. Thank you to Bob Barrineau and Brendan Redeyoff with CBRE, who represented SunCap Property Group in the lease up of this exciting project.  This team will also be responsible for the marketing and leasing of Phase II.

Spartan Exchange Phase Two in Spartanburg, SC underway January 2021
SunCap Property Group is pleased to announce it has closed on 23 acres for the development of Spartan Exchange Phase Two in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The property is strategically located on Highway 29, less than a mile from the I-85 interchange, offering unparalleled access to major highways, the Inland Port and regional manufacturers including BMW. Zoning will accommodate industrial, manufacturing and distribution uses.
