Brendan's primary role as the chief financial officer is capital formation, as well as capital structuring and sourcing with preferred partners. Under Brendan's leadership, SunCap is able to deliver superior risk adjusted returns to its partners while delivering cost competitive projects to its clients and excellent capital markets execution.
Prior to joining SunCap, Brendan was the founding Principal of Langholz Wilson Ellis Capital Solutions, based in Pittsburgh. Langholz Wilson Ellis Capital Solutions provided clients with solution oriented debt capital advisory services for all asset classes and in each part of the capital stack. Brendan has over 25 years of real estate and real estate capital markets experience, which included time with the land acquisitions team at NVR Inc.
The bulk of his career was spent with Pittsburgh National Corporations Capital Markets and Pittsburgh National Corporations Real Estate Finance. He has closed over $3 billion in structured capital for real estate projects and real estate related entities.
Brendan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Boston College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati.
