The Challenge

SunCap sought to deliver a niche apartment offering in a high barrier to entry market alongside two of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Charlotte.

Our Solution

The community broke ground in the fall of 2017 and delivered in Summer 2019, offering 47 of the largest for-rent residences in Charlotte alongside eight exclusive townhomes for sale. Meticulous care was given to finish selection and appointments to ensure durable design that is timeless in functionality and incorporates architecture that continues to accrue value over time.

    • Four-story apartment building over one level of controlled access with underground parking and eight for-sale townhomes on the border of the prestigious Myers Park and Elizabeth neighborhoods of Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Development Highlights
    • 47 elegantly appointed 2 bedroom + den and 3 bedroom + den apartment homes ranging in size from 1,569 square feet to 2,372 square feet. Townhomes range from 3,157 square feet to 3,433 square feet
  • Apartment Design Features
    • An 1,800-square-foot amenity includes a private conference room, club seating and access to an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill and fireplace. Residences feature 10-foot ceilings and 8-foot interior doors with custom crown molding. Casement-style oversized windows bathe residences in light and a gliding glass wall expands out to a fully covered balcony with a gas fireplace. Chef-inspired kitchens feature stainless steel appliances including a French door refrigerator, a 6-burner gas range and a 46-bottle wine cooler. Oversized islands with luxe Calcatta quartz countertops complement the decorative tile backsplash.
  • Townhouse Design Features
    • Brick and stucco homes include brick pavers for front porches and terraces, 10-foot ceiling heights. Kitchens feature a Professional Wolf appliance package and stone countertops with under-mount porcelain sinks. Oversized specialty sliding doors lead to a private covered terrace with a gas fireplace.
